We want to thank all of you for coming out to the Grand Opening & Art Exhibition at San Pedro Springs Gallery! We featured art by owner Mike Hyatt & Nemo as well as 10 other artists. 100 plus visitors showed their support while enjoying yummy treats and drinks! Nemo's art was a big hit as usual - he sold 10 pieces and lined up future commissions!

Nemo art at Volant

I have been talking to a new gallery called “Volant”. It is an "embroidered art studio". Yesterday we walked down there to see some artist proofs on a piece Robert, the owner, is creating for me (a hummingbird). Man, is it the coolest thing I ever seen! It’s my work but done in a million stitches on silk fabric. So now production is on to make 5 each of 3 designs to carry there. All will be hand signed and numbered and cost $85 each. Fountain Plaza Invitational Art Show 2008

Nemo and I took part in an open air art show in College Station over the weekend. We had great weather and lots of visitors! Nemo's art proved to be very popular with buyers and we hope to return in the fall for the next show.

Nemo in Austin 3-19-08
We took a trip to Austin this week with a car load of Nemo's art and found a great gallery called "El Taller". The wonderful owner, Olga, was delighted to have his art in her gallery. For those of you in Austin, please stop by to say hello, and ask about Nemo's art!
Nemo on Luminaria 3-15-08
Nemo and I opened our doors for "Luminaria: Arts Night in San Antonio". We had worked down to the wire to get the house clean and ready for our visitors with the art looking spectacular in our newly finished Hallway- Gallery. A big thank you to everyone who ventured out that day! We enjoyed having you over for a visit and hope we get even more traffic next year!
Nemo's Commissioned Portrait 2-16-08
Nemo unveiled his commissioned portrait of an art collector's recently married daughter who currently resides in New York City. The portrait was made as a wedding present. It represents the young woman as she performs on stage in China. The art collectors were thrilled with the piece and cannot wait to present it to their daughter and son-in-law.
